Axon Protocol

Check the work, not the hype.

Axon is an open protocol that sends work to the models and people best suited to it. I built it so you can check every answer against its source.

01 — The protocol

Trust the record, not the operator.

Most networks ask you to trust whoever runs them. I think that is backwards. In Axon, every request carries its inputs, every node builds a public track record, and every result comes back as a claim you can check.

The goal is simple. Make good work cheaper to find, and make bad answers easy to catch.

To be clear, this is not an AI that takes over the world. That is still science fiction. Axon is plumbing, and good plumbing is underrated.

02 — How it works

Three steps. All of them checkable.

Step 01

Signal

You send a request with its inputs, its limits, and how the result will be judged.

Step 02

Route

Nodes bid on it. The job goes to the node with the best track record, not the loudest pitch.

Step 03

Verify

The result comes back with a full trail, so anyone can check it against the source data.

03 — Design principles

How I built it.

A

Open by default

The spec is public. Open and closed models can both plug in, and the gap between them keeps getting smaller.

B

Measured reputation

Every node's performance is published. If a number is out of date, the page says so instead of hiding it.

C

Efficient by design

Compute runs on energy, and cheap clean energy is the real limit. Axon routes work so less of it gets wasted.

D

Security through use

Locking a system away doesn't make it safe. Axon is meant to be poked at, tested, and fixed in public.

E

Fees fund development

Protocol fees go straight into development. What the network earns pays for building it.

04 — Roadmap

What comes next.

Phase 01 · Now

Specification

Publish the draft spec and let people tear it apart. I'll share dates when they're real.

Phase 02

Test network

Run the first nodes against public benchmarks and post the results, good or bad.

Phase 03

Open network

Open it up to everyone once verification holds up under real load.
